Energy Efficient

AAC is 100 % Green Building Material and is a walling material of a choice in LEED® certified buildings (ITC Centre, the highest rated green building has been built using AAC). It is energy and resource efficient in the sense that it uses least amount of energy and material per m3 of product. Unlike brick manufacturing process which uses precious top layer agricultural soil, AAC uses fly ash (65% of its weight) thus provides the most constructive solution to the nation’s fly-ash utilization problem

Excellent Thermal Insulation

AAC provides sound insulated interiors, keeping out warm air in summers and cold air in the winters. It also reduces air conditioning costs by 30% while providing the highest thermal rating in the industry.

Superior Fire Resistance

Depending upon thickness, AAC offers fire resistance for about 2 to 6 hours. The melting point of AAC is over 1600℃, more than twice the typical temperature in a building fire of 650℃.

Water & Moisture Resistance

The structure does not allow for capillary action making it impervious to water. Its water resistance properties are further enhanced by adding silicon based additives. AAC possesses excellent structural integrity, resisting moisture penetration, whether caused by wind-driven rain or standing water. Additional moisture resistance is achieved with a final surface treatment such as plaster and paint, or cladding such as bricks and/or other exterior materials.

Pest Resistant

Termites hate AAC! Being made of inorganic minerals it does not promote growth of mold.

Non Toxic

AAC Block does not have any toxic substances nor does it emit odour. Its production, management and disposal do not represent any health risks or damage to the environment.
